Ingredients                                                                                                                                                                                                           (Serves – 8)

  • All Purpose Flour – 500gms
  • Sugar – ¼ tsp                                                                                                               
  • Salt – ½ Teaspoon                                                       
  • Baking Powder – ¼ Teaspoon
  • Yeast – ½ Teaspoon
  • Milk – 150ml
  • Water – As Needed
  • Oil – 30gms
  • Garlic – 6 Cloves (Finely Chopped)
  • Coriander Leaves – 2 Tablespoons (Finely Chopped)
  • Butter – 3 Tablespoons (Melted)

 

Method

  • In A Large Mixing Bowl, Combine All Purpose Flour, Sugar, Salt, And Baking Powder. Mix Well. 
  • Add Milk And Oil To The Flour Mixture And Mix Using Your Hands.
  • Gradually Add Water As Needed And Knead Into A Soft And Slightly Sticky Dough.
  • Knead The Dough For 8–10 Minutes Until Smooth And Elastic.
  • Cover The Dough With A Damp Cloth And Let It Rest For 2 Hours At Room Temperature.
  • Preheat The Oven To 350°C And Place A Baking Tray Or Pizza Stone Inside To Heat.
  • Divide The Dough Into Equal Lemon Sized Balls After Resting.
  • Mix Finely Chopped Garlic And Coriander Leaves In A Small Bowl.
  • Roll Each Dough Ball Into An Oval Or Teardrop Shape About 1/4 Inch Thick.
  • Sprinkle The Garlic And Coriander Mixture On Top And Gently Press So It Sticks To The Surface.
  • Carefully Place The Rolled Naan On The Preheated Tray Or Pizza Stone.
  • Bake For 2-3 Minutes Or Until The Naan Puffs Up And Develops Golden Brown Spots On Top.
  • Remove From The Oven And Immediately Brush Generously With Melted Butter.
  • Serve Hot.
