Ingredients (Serves – 8)
- All Purpose Flour – 500gms
- Sugar – ¼ tsp
- Salt – ½ Teaspoon
- Baking Powder – ¼ Teaspoon
- Yeast – ½ Teaspoon
- Milk – 150ml
- Water – As Needed
- Oil – 30gms
- Garlic – 6 Cloves (Finely Chopped)
- Coriander Leaves – 2 Tablespoons (Finely Chopped)
- Butter – 3 Tablespoons (Melted)
Method
- In A Large Mixing Bowl, Combine All Purpose Flour, Sugar, Salt, And Baking Powder. Mix Well.
- Add Milk And Oil To The Flour Mixture And Mix Using Your Hands.
- Gradually Add Water As Needed And Knead Into A Soft And Slightly Sticky Dough.
- Knead The Dough For 8–10 Minutes Until Smooth And Elastic.
- Cover The Dough With A Damp Cloth And Let It Rest For 2 Hours At Room Temperature.
- Preheat The Oven To 350°C And Place A Baking Tray Or Pizza Stone Inside To Heat.
- Divide The Dough Into Equal Lemon Sized Balls After Resting.
- Mix Finely Chopped Garlic And Coriander Leaves In A Small Bowl.
- Roll Each Dough Ball Into An Oval Or Teardrop Shape About 1/4 Inch Thick.
- Sprinkle The Garlic And Coriander Mixture On Top And Gently Press So It Sticks To The Surface.
- Carefully Place The Rolled Naan On The Preheated Tray Or Pizza Stone.
- Bake For 2-3 Minutes Or Until The Naan Puffs Up And Develops Golden Brown Spots On Top.
- Remove From The Oven And Immediately Brush Generously With Melted Butter.
- Serve Hot.
