Ingredients (Serves – 4)
- Rice Flour – 2 Cups
- Water – 2 Cups
- Salt – 1/2 Tsp
- Oil – 1 Tsp
Method
- Boil Water In A Pan And Add Salt And Oil.
- Reduce The Flame And Add Rice Flour Gradually, Stirring Continuously To Avoid Lumps.
- Mix Until It Comes Together Into A Soft Dough.
- Turn Off The Heat, Cover, And Let It Cool Slightly.
- Knead The Dough While Still Warm Until Smooth And Soft.
- Divide The Dough Into Small Equal Portions.
- Roll Each Portion Into Thin Discs Using A Rolling Pin, Dusting With Rice Flour If Needed.
- Heat A Tawa And Cook Each Pathiri On Medium Flame Without Oil.
- Flip When It Starts Puffing And Cook The Other Side Lightly Without Browning Too Much.
- Remove And Keep Covered In A Cloth To Retain Softness.
- Serve Warm With Curry Of Choice.
