Ingredients                                                                                                 

  • Potatoes – 500 g
  • Oil – 20 g
  • Cumin seeds – 5 g
  • Green chili – 5 g
  • Ginger – 10 g
  • Turmeric powder – 3 g
  • Red chili powder – 3 g
  • Coriander powder – 5 g
  • Salt – 8 g or to taste
  • Fresh coriander leaves – 10 g

 

Method

  • Wash, peel, and cut the potatoes into small cubes.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them crackle.
  • Add chopped green chili and ginger, sauté briefly.
  • Add potatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • Cover and cook on low heat, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are cooked and lightly crisp.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
