Ingredients (Serves – 4)
- Jowar Flour – 2 Cups
- Fresh Methi Leaves Finely Chopped – 1 Cup
- Finely Chopped Onion – 1/2 Cup
- Green Chilli Finely Chopped – 2 Nos
- Garlic Finely Chopped – 4 Cloves
- Cumin Seeds – 1 Tsp
- Turmeric Powder – 1/4 Tsp
- Red Chilli Powder – 1/2 Tsp
- Salt – To Taste
- Warm Water – As Required
- Oil – 2 Tbsp
Method
- In A Large Bowl, Combine Jowar Flour, Chopped Methi Leaves, Onion, Green Chilli, Garlic, Cumin Seeds, Turmeric Powder, Red Chilli Powder, And Salt.
- Add Warm Water Gradually And Knead Into A Soft Dough That Holds Together Well.
- Divide The Dough Into Equal Portions.
- Take One Portion And Pat It Into A Thin Roti Using Your Hands On A Plastic Sheet Or Banana Leaf.
- Heat A Tawa And Carefully Transfer The Roti Onto It.
- Drizzle A Little Oil Around The Edges And Cook On Medium Flame.
- Flip When The Base Is Cooked And Slightly Brown, Then Cook The Other Side Until Done.
- Repeat With The Remaining Dough Portions.
- Serve Hot With Curd, Pickle, Or Curry Of Choice.
Prep Time – 15 mins. Cook Time – 20 mins. Total Time – 35 mins.
