Ingredients   (Serves – 4)

  • Jowar Flour – 2 Cups
  • Fresh Methi Leaves Finely Chopped – 1 Cup
  • Finely Chopped Onion – 1/2 Cup
  • Green Chilli Finely Chopped – 2 Nos
  • Garlic Finely Chopped – 4 Cloves
  • Cumin Seeds – 1 Tsp
  • Turmeric Powder – 1/4 Tsp
  • Red Chilli Powder – 1/2 Tsp
  • Salt – To Taste
  • Warm Water – As Required
  • Oil – 2 Tbsp

Method

  • In A Large Bowl, Combine Jowar Flour, Chopped Methi Leaves, Onion, Green Chilli, Garlic, Cumin Seeds, Turmeric Powder, Red Chilli Powder, And Salt.
  • Add Warm Water Gradually And Knead Into A Soft Dough That Holds Together Well.
  • Divide The Dough Into Equal Portions.
  • Take One Portion And Pat It Into A Thin Roti Using Your Hands On A Plastic Sheet Or Banana Leaf.
  • Heat A Tawa And Carefully Transfer The Roti Onto It.
  • Drizzle A Little Oil Around The Edges And Cook On Medium Flame.
  • Flip When The Base Is Cooked And Slightly Brown, Then Cook The Other Side Until Done.
  • Repeat With The Remaining Dough Portions.
  • Serve Hot With Curd, Pickle, Or Curry Of Choice.
