Ingredients   (Serves – 4)

  • Rice Flour – 2 Cups                                                               
  • Water – 2 Cups
  • Salt – 1/2 Tsp
  • Oil – 1 Tsp

Method

  • Boil Water In A Pan And Add Salt And Oil.
  • Reduce The Flame And Add Rice Flour Gradually, Stirring Continuously To Avoid Lumps.
  • Mix Until It Comes Together Into A Soft Dough.
  • Turn Off The Heat, Cover, And Let It Cool Slightly.
  • Knead The Dough While Still Warm Until Smooth And Soft.
  • Divide The Dough Into Small Equal Portions.
  • Roll Each Portion Into Thin Discs Using A Rolling Pin, Dusting With Rice Flour If Needed.
  • Heat A Tawa And Cook Each Pathiri On Medium Flame Without Oil.
  • Flip When It Starts Puffing And Cook The Other Side Lightly Without Browning Too Much.
  • Remove And Keep Covered In A Cloth To Retain Softness.
  • Serve Warm With Curry Of Choice.
