About

Where Culinary Excellence Meets Meaningful Experiences

Khud Rang means “your own colour.” It is an invitation — to bring yourself fully into the kitchen, to cook with curiosity, and to leave with something no recipe book can give you: the confidence to create.

We are a Delhi-based immersive culinary experience led by certified chefs with decades of combined expertise. But what sets us apart is not our credentials. It is our belief that Indian cooking is not a collection of recipes to memorise — it is a living logic to understand.

Every class, every tasting, every walk through Delhi’s oldest food streets is designed to do one thing: make Indian cooking make sense to you, wherever you are in the world.

  • Not a cooking class. A culinary conversation with India.
  • Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam — the world is one family. Food has always known this. Come eat with us. We don’t just show you what to cook. We show you why it works.

Food is the oldest story India tells

Long before India had written records, it had food. The rituals of the kitchen — the grinding of spices, the slow tempering of mustard seeds, the rolling of bread on a stone — carry thousands of years of memory.

At Khud Rang, we believe food is the most honest entry point into a culture. It asks nothing of you except curiosity and an open palate. It gives back everything — history, warmth, community, and the rare pleasure of making something with your own hands.

You will not just leave knowing how to cook. You will leave knowing what you cooked — and why it matters.

Dr. Chef Rajeev Goyal

Food is the oldest story India tells

Born into a family with a rich culinary legacy, Shikha Gupta’s appreciation for Indian cuisine was nurtured from an early age. With generations of her maternal family running a renowned Satvik restaurant in Kolkata, she grew up where recipes, traditions, and hospitality were an integral part of everyday life.

Originally from Agra and now based in Delhi, Shikha began her professional career in advertising before moving into the inbound travel industry, where she spent over a decade designing exceptional experiences for discerning international travelers. It was during this journey that she recognized a missing element in India’s culinary tourism—while guests could watch Indian food being prepared, few were invited to truly experience it through hands-on participation.

Guided by her lifelong passion for food and culture, Shikha founded KhudRang in 2021, a state-of-the-art experiential cooking studio dedicated to immersive culinary experiences. Blending authentic regional cuisine, cultural storytelling, and refined hospitality, KhudRang offers travelers an opportunity to discover India through its kitchens rather than its restaurants.

Today, Shikha welcomes guests from around the world to experience India’s rich culinary heritage in an intimate and elegant setting, where every session is thoughtfully curated to inspire meaningful cultural connections, lasting memories, and the confidence to recreate authentic Indian flavours long after the journey ends.
