Ingredients (Serves – 4)
- Raw Mangoes – 3 Medium
- Water – 4 Cups
- Sugar – 6 Tablespoons
- Black Salt – 1 Teaspoon
- Roasted Cumin Powder – 2 Teaspoons
- Fresh Mint Leaves – 2 Tablespoons
- Black Pepper Powder – 1/2 Teaspoon
- Salt – 1/2 Teaspoon
- Ice Cubes – As Required
Method
- Wash the raw mangoes thoroughly and pressure cook them with 2 cups of water for 3 whistles until soft.
- Allow the mangoes to cool completely and peel the skin.
- Extract the pulp from the mangoes and transfer it to a blender.
- Add sugar, black salt, roasted cumin powder, mint leaves, black pepper powder, and regular salt to the blender.
- Blend the mixture into a smooth paste.
- Transfer the mango mixture to a large jug and add the remaining water.
- Mix well until everything is fully combined.
- Taste and adjust sugar or spices if required.
- Serve chilled with ice cubes and garnish with a few mint leaves.
