Aam Panna

Ingredients    (Serves – 4)

 

  • Raw Mangoes – 3 Medium
  • Water – 4 Cups
  • Sugar – 6 Tablespoons                                                            
  • Black Salt – 1 Teaspoon
  • Roasted Cumin Powder – 2 Teaspoons
  • Fresh Mint Leaves – 2 Tablespoons
  • Black Pepper Powder – 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Salt – 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Ice Cubes – As Required

 

Method

 

  • Wash the raw mangoes thoroughly and pressure cook them with 2 cups of water for 3 whistles until soft.
  • Allow the mangoes to cool completely and peel the skin.
  • Extract the pulp from the mangoes and transfer it to a blender.
  • Add sugar, black salt, roasted cumin powder, mint leaves, black pepper powder, and regular salt to the blender.
  • Blend the mixture into a smooth paste.
  • Transfer the mango mixture to a large jug and add the remaining water.
  • Mix well until everything is fully combined.
  • Taste and adjust sugar or spices if required.
  • Serve chilled with ice cubes and garnish with a few mint leaves.

 

Prep Time – 10 mins.                     Cook Time – 15 mins.                    Total Time – 25 mins.
