Ingredients (Serves – 3)
- Rice Flour – 2 Cups
- Finely Chopped Onion – 1 Cup
- Grated Coconut – 1/2 Cup
- Green Chilli Finely Chopped – 2 Nos
- Curry Leaves Finely Chopped – 2 Tbsp
- Fresh Coriander Leaves Chopped – 2 Tbsp
- Cumin Seeds – 1 Tsp
- Salt – To Taste
- Water – As Required
- Oil – 2 Tbsp
Method
- In A Large Bowl, Combine Rice Flour, Onion, Grated Coconut, Green Chilli, Curry Leaves, Coriander Leaves, Cumin Seeds, And Salt.
- Add Water Gradually And Knead Into A Soft Dough That Holds Together Without Being Too Sticky.
- Divide The Dough Into Equal Portions.
- Take One Portion And Pat It Gently Into A Thin Flat Roti On A Banana Leaf Or Plastic Sheet Using Wet Fingers.
- Heat A Tawa And Place The Roti Carefully Onto It.
- Drizzle A Little Oil Around The Edges And Cook On Medium Flame.
- Cover And Cook Until The Base Turns Golden Brown, Then Flip And Cook The Other Side.
- Repeat The Process For Remaining Dough Portions.
- Serve Hot With Coconut Chutney Or Butter.
