Ingredients   (Serves – 3)

  • Rice Flour – 2 Cups
  • Finely Chopped Onion – 1 Cup
  • Grated Coconut – 1/2 Cup
  • Green Chilli Finely Chopped – 2 Nos
  • Curry Leaves Finely Chopped – 2 Tbsp
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves Chopped – 2 Tbsp
  • Cumin Seeds – 1 Tsp
  • Salt – To Taste
  • Water – As Required
  • Oil – 2 Tbsp

Method

  • In A Large Bowl, Combine Rice Flour, Onion, Grated Coconut, Green Chilli, Curry Leaves, Coriander Leaves, Cumin Seeds, And Salt.
  • Add Water Gradually And Knead Into A Soft Dough That Holds Together Without Being Too Sticky.
  • Divide The Dough Into Equal Portions.
  • Take One Portion And Pat It Gently Into A Thin Flat Roti On A Banana Leaf Or Plastic Sheet Using Wet Fingers.
  • Heat A Tawa And Place The Roti Carefully Onto It.
  • Drizzle A Little Oil Around The Edges And Cook On Medium Flame.
  • Cover And Cook Until The Base Turns Golden Brown, Then Flip And Cook The Other Side.
  • Repeat The Process For Remaining Dough Portions.
  • Serve Hot With Coconut Chutney Or Butter.
