Chaas

Ingredients  (Serves – 4)

  • Thick Curd – 2 Cups
  • Chilled Water – 3 Cups
  • Roasted Cumin Powder – 1 Teaspoon
  • Black Salt – 1 Teaspoon
  • Salt – 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Ginger – 1 Inch Piece
  • Green Chilli – 1 Small
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves – 2 Tablespoons Finely Chopped
  • Ice Cubes – As Required

 

Method

  • Add thick curd and chilled water to a blender.
  • Blend until smooth and thin in consistency.
  • Add roasted cumin powder, black salt, and regular salt.
  • Grate ginger and finely chop green chilli, then add to the mixture.
  • Blend briefly again to combine all flavors well.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if required.
  • Pour into glasses filled with ice cubes.
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve chilled.

 

Prep Time – 10 mins.           Cook Time – 0 mins.                        Total Time – 10 mins.
