Sattu Cooler

Ingredients  (Serves – 4)

  • Sattu Flour – 8 Tablespoons
  • Chilled Water – 4 Cups
  • Roasted Cumin Powder – 1 Teaspoon                                   
  • Black Salt – 1 Teaspoon
  • Salt – 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Lemon Juice – 2 Tablespoons
  • Green Chilli – 1 Small Finely Chopped
  • Fresh Coriander Leaves – 2 Tablespoons Finely Chopped
  • Chopped Onion – 2 Tablespoon
  • Fresh Mint Leaves – 1 Tablespoon Finely Chopped
  • Ice Cubes – As Required

 

Method

  • Add the sattu flour to a large mixing bowl.
  • Pour in 1 cup of water gradually while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
  • Add roasted cumin powder, black salt, regular salt, and lemon juice to the mixture.
  • Mix in the chopped green chilli, coriander leaves, chopped onions and mint leaves.
  • Pour in the remaining chilled water and stir thoroughly until smooth and well combined.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if required.
  • Add ice cubes to serving glasses and pour the sattu sharbat over them.
  • Serve immediately while chilled.

 

Prep Time – 10 mins.            Cook Time – 0 mins.                 Total Time – 10 mins.
