Ingredients (Serves – 4)
- Sattu Flour – 8 Tablespoons
- Chilled Water – 4 Cups
- Roasted Cumin Powder – 1 Teaspoon
- Black Salt – 1 Teaspoon
- Salt – 1/2 Teaspoon
- Lemon Juice – 2 Tablespoons
- Green Chilli – 1 Small Finely Chopped
- Fresh Coriander Leaves – 2 Tablespoons Finely Chopped
- Chopped Onion – 2 Tablespoon
- Fresh Mint Leaves – 1 Tablespoon Finely Chopped
- Ice Cubes – As Required
Method
- Add the sattu flour to a large mixing bowl.
- Pour in 1 cup of water gradually while stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
- Add roasted cumin powder, black salt, regular salt, and lemon juice to the mixture.
- Mix in the chopped green chilli, coriander leaves, chopped onions and mint leaves.
- Pour in the remaining chilled water and stir thoroughly until smooth and well combined.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if required.
- Add ice cubes to serving glasses and pour the sattu sharbat over them.
- Serve immediately while chilled.
